My name is Joanne and I’m a millennial she/her living in Los Angeles. I describe this in my first blog post, but I’m more of a reluctant blogger (don’t expect to see a lot of selfie/modeling pics!), but after a major surgery and convos with friends, I developed a passion to foster knowledge and discussion on health topics, because Knowledge is Power! But don’t worry, I’m going to mix in some fun things on fashion, beauty, and lifestyle as well.

The name of the blog is an ode to one of my favorite places in Spain, Rias Baixas, and my mother. Thank you for visiting!
